Creating is like breathing ... it is a part of everything we do. Welcome to The Silver Crow! My name is Deby Henry and I live with my husband, Bob, and our dog, Maggie, in Oxford, Ohio. Bob is the wind beneath my wings and a constant support to my work. The arts have always been a part of my life. Over the years, I have studied music, written poetry, sketched, and sculpted. Like stepping stones, each has guided my journey in the desire to express myself. The one common thread is it always begins in my spirit, and then is expressed through my heart and hands. I usually begin with a sketch and from there the hands and heart take over! I have traveled throughout the United States and Europe selling my creations. I have been very fortunate in my endeavors, and it has opened my eyes to the inspiration that surrounds us everywhere.
Like many others, I stumbled into the world of precious metal clay. It is a realative new medium and still being explored by artists everywhere. It has allowed for wonderful jewelry to be created from fine silver. This medium has opened doors for my creativity that I never imagined. I am a certified artisan in Precious Metal Clay and a member of the PMC Guild.
